We are coming down the week of July 4th and hear the crowds are extremely high, my husband and his 2 boys have never been to the parks. how can I minimize wait times on July 4th at Magic Kingdom and make sure they see the best of the park

    Hello Faith,

It's wonderful to see you here at the Moms Panel.  Your information is absolutely correct that crowds are high at the Walt Disney World Resort during the July 4 holiday. Hopefully you are staying on property at a Walt Disney World resort which will allow you to make Fast Pass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance of your arrival. The fast passes will be invaluable in minimizing wait times at your favorite attractions.  You may choose up to three attractions. When you have used up those passes, you may choose more at the kiosks scattered throughout the theme parks.  You will also want to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours where you can visit a select theme park either before regular morning hours or after evening hours which will give you additional time in the parks ahead of the non resort guests.  One of my best suggestions is to make an early morning breakfast reservation at any of the theme parks.  Breakfast guests are allowed in to the park before opening time.  After your meal, you'll have a head start on guests who may just be arriving which will give you some front of the line advantage at the more popular attractions where you may not have a Fast Pass +.

As you plan your spectacular Independence Day vacation, we'll be here to help you every step of the way. Please stop by anytime.

    Be Magical,
