I am coming down with a special needs, medically fragile child (not quite 1 year old) in a couple of weeks. Are there any rest areas that we can go in to that would provide a clean area to feed her with her feeding tube? Maybe a lactating moms restroom?

    Hi Ruth!

I'm so happy you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Inside each Theme Park at Walt Disney World is a Baby Care Center and I think this is exactly what you are looking for. Inside each one are private, clean rooms where you can feed and rock your little one, changing stations, and quiet spots where you can cool off, relax and take care of your child. To locate the Baby Care Centers, take a look at the map online or simply ask any Cast Member once you are in the Parks. My daughters-in-law absolutely rave about these wonderful out-of-the-way spots. I would highly recommend them!

You also might want to take a minute to read about the Disability Access Service Card available to all Guests with special needs. This allows those who have trouble waiting in traditional lines to skip them and, instead, be given a return time for a specific Ride or Attraction. If you would like to request one, simply stop by Guest Services at the front of every Theme Park. We have a special needs son and it is a lifesaver for us!

Please come back if there is anything at all we can do to help you with your planning. We love to sprinkle a little extra Pixie Dust on Guest's magical Walt Disney World vacations.

    Have a wonderful day!
