Hi Christina!
Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and I'm excited to see that you are visiting Walt Disney World at Christmas time! You will love the way the parks are decorated, and Magic Kingdom Park looks especially beautiful. Walking down Main Street U.S.A. takes your breath away!
All guests are welcome to make dining reservations, regardless of where you are staying. At exactly 60 days in advance
you can make your reservations online, one day at a time for each day of your visit.
As it's likely to be very busy at that time of year, be ready to make your reservations, and maybe have a backup choice of restaurant in case your first choice books up quickly. At Magic Kingdom Park,
Cinderella's Royal Table and
Be Our Guest Restaurant are particularly popular.
During Christmas week, crowds will probably be higher than usual, so I recommend arriving at the parks early, and leaving early. Magic Kingdom Park, particularly on Christmas Day is likely to reach full capacity, but if you’re happy to soak up the atmosphere in the parks, without any pressure to ride your favourite attractions, check your Tip Board on your My Disney Experience app to see if any characters or if Santa is making an appearance (I have absolutely no idea if he will have any spare time for a visit, but do check just in case). Intend for a relaxed time.
Lastly, over at Disney Springs, another activity is the
Christmas Tree Stroll. If you're passing, take a walk around the trees, individually decorated and themed to various attractions. Lots of photo opportunities!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can s
end me a direct question if you wish. We are always happy to help you plan your magical holiday!
