We4 are coming down for mu daughters 5h birthday in December 30'th week. How do I get tickets what do I need to know? Do you still do special moments for birthdays?

    Hiya Stephanie!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Oh my goodness, Stephanie, what a special occasion that is! There is no better place to celebrate your birthday than at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am so excited for your little princess to experience that special magic. As a fellow December baby, I was also able to celebrate my birthday at Disney for the first time last year, and I am afraid it will have to be a new tradition now!

Firstly, let's talk about what you will need to do to make sure this birthday party is as awesome as ever! You are correct that you will need valid theme park admission to enter the theme parks. First, you may purchase your theme park tickets online and select the best option for your needs. I love the Park Hopper Option as it allows you to adjust your vacation plans based on your wants and needs. Then, you will have the opportunity to add some "add-ons" to your magical vacation, such as the Disney Genie+ service or the Memory Maker service. I would highly suggest using the Memory Maker service as you will not have to worry about getting high-quality pictures yourself and will be able to enjoy spending time with your family. Once you have purchased your tickets, make sure that everyone in your party has a My Disney Experience profile so that you may link the tickets to them. Then comes the second part of your valid theme park admission: theme park reservations. After connecting your tickets to your profiles, select the park you would like to visit for each day of your magical vacation. And voilà! You will be all set to spend your daughter's birthday at the parks.

Now, let's talk about some fun ways to add extra magic to your little one's birthday! In my opinion, one of the best parts of celebrating your birthday at the theme parks is getting to wear a "Happy Birthday" button. You can pick up these complimentary buttons at most merchandise locations, Guest Relations and even at the front desk of your Resort. Then, what Rapunzel, the birthday expert, told me on my birthday was that cake is necessary! For the best treats, she recommended the Main Street Confectionery for a nice cupcake. Lastly, stop by the shop Sir Mickey's behind the Cinderella Castle and ask one of the fairy godmothers to pixie dust your little princess. I always love getting pixie-dusted (yes, even as a 23-year-old), and if your little one likes glitter, she'll love this! Don't forget to stop by the Cinderella Castle and ask a PhotoPass Cast Member to immortalize this magical moment for you, and voilà! You've got the perfect birthday planned, and who knows what kind of magic might happen!

I hope this was helpful, Stephanie, and that you and your royal party will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other questions or want some more birthday-celebration ideas, don't hesitate to reach out. After all, birthdays are kind of an annual thing, so you can never have enough birthday ideas!

    Have a magical day,
