    Coming down March 2012; we are on DDP - do I have to use that during the days we are actually staying at the resort? Or could we use it a day prior to checking into the resort?

    My family often takes advantage of the Disney Dining Plan (DDP). But to answer your question, the DDP offers its plan's benefits per night of your package stay. So you would not be able to make use of it until you arrive on property and check-in at your Resort.
