Greetings Rebecca!
While I'm thrilled you are planning your summer vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm also sorry to hear about your dear little one's angel anniversary. It's wonderful that you are looking for a special way to remember her during your visit.
There are a few things I can think of that may be a nice tribute to your little princess. First, you could take a photo in a special place or with her favorite character. Cinderella's Wishing Well, between Cinderella Castle and Tomorrowland offers a beautiful area and back drop. Your family could also make a special wish or prayer into the well.
Another bit of a hidden gem in Magic Kingdom Park, is the Wish Book found in the
Pinocchio Village Haus. Perhaps your wishes would find their way to your daughter on the way up to the stars. Shortly after my Grandpa passed away, I visited Walt Disney World Resort for my college graduation and wrote, " I wish my Grandpa could see me today." It helped to know he might have been watching with a little extra Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust.
Last, when we were last there, near
Soarin' in The Land Pavilion, there was a small shop selling tree seedlings. You could purchase one of those to take home with you to plant somewhere special.
I've also seen fellow panelists recommend donating in the loved ones name to Give Kids the World - where children with life-threatening diseases are given storybook vacations, releasing a balloon, or even enjoying a special meal. Honestly, celebrating her together is the special moment all on it's own.
Please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
