Hi Moms, we are coming down in January 2013 for our first trip and I wanted to know what are the must see things besides the rides like parades and such, I know there is much more then rides to see in DW? It will be my dh my 3 yo and myself. Thanks

Hi Kathleen - there are certainly many different things to see at Walt Disney World, beyond attractions and rides.  I'd recommend that you take a look at the calendars for the dates you are visiting to see what parades and shows are going on.

To see the calendars, do the following:
Visit the Walt Disney World website
Click on Parks and Tickets at the top
    Select each park individually
Select "calendar" from the menu on the left
Choose the month from the drop down on the top right
Click into each specific day to get the calendar by day

Keep in mind that days at Walt Disney World can be incredibly tiring for a little one, so it can be difficult to see the late parades and fireworks.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
