We are coming down and camping with our fith wheel at fort wilderness. My question is is it worth it to get dvc points for camping at fort wilderness from now on? And how do the points work with fort wilderness?

    Hi Damien,

Thanks for stopping in with your question!

It’s great to hear you’ll be enjoying the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. You’ll get to take in both the great outdoors and the great magic on Main Street. You can get info on amenities as well as photos for a Full Hook-Up Campsite, Preferred Campsite, and Premium Campsite on the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels website.

You can get an idea of how points work with the campsites by looking at the Disney Vacation Club 2018 Reservations Points Chart on the Points Charts & Calculator page. Campsite reservations range from 8 reservation points per night for Full Hook-Up Campsite in Value Season to 19 reservation points per night for a Premium Campsite in Holiday Season.

In considering Disney Vacation Club membership, I’d encourage you to think about your vacationing style — how often you vacation and how you like to vacation. In my experience, we’ve seen a lot of value and made many cherished memories enjoying our Disney Vacation Club Home Resorts and the other unique Vacation Club Resorts. You can contact a Vacation Club Guide and get more information and answers about Disney Vacation Club and how it fits your vacationing style.

    Enjoy your camping!

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
