Hello, I am coming down the beginning of April and am staying in a villa at Saratoga Springs. I know there is a small mini refrigerator in the room but does it have a small freezer? I like to carry a frozen bottle of water into the parks.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Rhonda!

Oh, we absolutely love calling Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa our home-away-from-home when visiting Walt Disney World. It's such such a lovely resort!

You will be happy to hear that the Villas at Saratoga Springs feature a refrigerator/freezer in the full kitchen, so you'll have room in the freezer compartment for those frozen water bottles and, perhaps, some Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars from The Artist's Palette. There's an ice bucket in the room, too, so you can even fill that with ice and tuck it into the freezer for use in your cold beverages once back from a fun-filled day in the parks.

While that's the case for a Villa, when we've stayed in a Deluxe Studio at Saratoga Springs, there has always been a small--but very generously sized--in-room mini-refrigerator in the kitchenette. Although there isn't a freezer compartment in the Studios' mini-fridge, there is an ice machine conveniently located in each building at this resort. I am a fan of very cold water as we tour the parks, so each morning, I'll bring some ice back to the room, pour it into wide-mouthed refillable water bottles for each of us, then top them off with chilled water we stash in the fridge.

Rhonda, be sure to enjoy High Rock Spring Pool while staying at Saratoga--it's really something special. We spent many a Saratoga summer night watching Movies Under the Stars after walking back from Disney Springs, too. Looking for a delicious bite to eat? Don't miss Saratoga's The Turf Club Bar and Grill. The Wedge Salad is so good, and many of the dishes here use those lovely greens grown at EPCOT's Living with the Land. Can't get more locally grown than that!

Rhonda, as you continue to put together your pixie-dusted plans for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
