We are coming to DL Feb 7 to 9 ... I am a little disappointed looking at the park schedule at the lack of live entertainment....no lion king, nothing at the hyperion, no WOC, no fantasmic, no fireworks. Is there a chance things may be added before then?

    Hi Deanne,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! February is a great time of year to visit Disneyland Resort, as the weather is usually mild and spring break hasn't yet begun. When I visit Disneyland Resort during this time of year, I focus on two things: riding as many attractions as possible and enjoying my favorite table service restaurants. I highly recommend the plant-based Brussels Caesar and Lobster Nachos at Lamplight Lounge!

I know it can be disappointing when some entertainment options aren't taking place during a trip. The good news is that it looks like one of my favorite Nighttime Spectaculars will be shown while you are there - World of Color - One! It is my most treasured version of World of Color, as it tells the story of how a single action can make a world of difference. As a social worker, it's a message that I firmly believe in! It appears that there is a calendar discrepancy between the United States and Canadian versions of the Disneyland Resort website, but the United States version is currently showing that World of Color - One is scheduled to be presented during your visit. When you arrive in the United States, I suggest double checking the Hours & Events Calendar just to make sure it is still happening.

Also, the extra special "Magic Happens" Parade is returning just in time for your visit! Featuring popular characters like Anna and Elsa and an incredible theme song (that you will be singing the rest of the day), this parade is a must-do for our family. In addition, Mickey's Mix Magic is a fun way to close out a night in Disneyland Park.

The Hours & Events Calendar is usually updated about six weeks in advance, so I wouldn't anticipate any significant changes at this point. However, I suggest that you keep checking the Hours & Events Calendar just in case more entertainment is added to the schedule. I also usually check the Disney Parks Blog for any information about events and activities occurring at Disneyland Resort. For the first time in forever, they shared dates and offering details for events throughout all of 2024!

Deanne, thank you again for contacting us at planDisney. I hope your trip to Disneyland Resort is filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
