Coming to Disneyworld 12/27-01/01 2009. 7 adults 3 kids (5yrs, 3yrs, 1yr). Is it worth the extra money to stay at monorail resort (Polynesian) or would Carribean Beach not be a big transportation nightmare. Worried about the large crowds. Thank you!!!!!

    Hi Jesse,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Sounds like you've go quite a crew joining you on your vacation, how fun!   In my honest opinion, if you have the ability and there is availability, I think you should consider switching  your reservation over to the Polynesian or Contemporary.

This is going to be an extremely busy week at the park, and with the ages of the children  you have traveling with you I would assume that you will be spending a fair amount of time at the Magic Kingdom.  The monorail resorts not only give you the easy access via the monorail, you also have an alternate access (by either walking to the Contemporary or taking the ferry to the Transportation & Ticket Center and then walking to the Polynesian).  Your only access to/from the Caribbean Beach Resort will be by bus, so having your park access fully dependent on on one mode of transportation can become stressful during busier times.

For what it's worth though, the Caribbean Beach Resort is amazing so regardless of what resort you wind up at, I think you'll have a great time.
