Hi there, Kassandra, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited for your family’s upcoming
Disneyland Resort adventures to begin soon!
It’s always a good idea to plan ahead by making
dining reservations, whether you’re eating in the theme parks,
Downtown Disney District, or at one of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Yes, you will want to add your 1-year-old daughter to your total Guest count, to ensure your group receives a big enough table to accommodate a high chair, if needed. If you happen to be booking
Character Dining, not to worry – charges don’t apply to Guests under the age of 3.
Here are some of my family’s top dining destinations around the Disneyland Resort to help you get started:
Downtown Disney District --
Naples Ristorante e Bar offers delicious Italian food in a beautiful, modern setting. Bonus points for the balloon artists wandering around the restaurant, eager to help distract little Mouseketeers!
Disneyland Resort Hotels – I recently had the chance to experience
Napa Rose, and it was delicious! I highly recommend it for a romantic date night. My family also enjoys the nearby
Storytellers Cafe for a more casual meal.
Character Dining – The Character Experiences at
“Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” are second-to-none! Enjoy special time with favorite Characters while munching on Mickey waffles, French toast, made-to-order omelets, and so much more!
Disneyland Park – Where else can you eat delicious cuisine while watching a popular attraction sail by? The atmosphere of
Blue Bayou Restaurant, situated inside Pirates of the Caribbean, makes this unique spot a must-do on my list!
Disney California Adventure Park – My family loves enjoying a meal together at
Wine Country Trattoria. Their Caprese Salad, Chicken Parmesan, and Red Sangria are my favorites!
I hope this helps you as you plan your dining experiences, Kassandra. Please stop by with any additional questions… I’m all EARs!
See ya’ real soon,
Kristin
