Hi there, John! Welcome to planDisney! A
Halloween Time trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of happy haunts and lots of tricks and treats!
It sounds like you may have booked a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package. This is one of my favorite ways to experience the magic of the Happiest Place on Earth! You will love waking up to Mickey waffles and strolling back to the Disneyland Hotel in the evenings, munching on popcorn, and reminiscing about all the magic of your day. It's a good idea to get those
theme park reservations in place early as they are subject to availability and the dates around Halloween may fill up! I'm happy to walk you through where to find those or how to book them so we can get your Disneyland ducks in a row.
When you open up your Disneyland Mobile App, head to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and then select "Future Plans". This is where you would see any upcoming theme park reservations organized by date. They will also include the number of Guests the reservation is for along with the park you will be starting in that day. See anything in there? Yes? GREAT! You are all set. If you are going for multiple days, double-check that each day is listed with the correct number of Guests. No? Hakuna Matata! Let's book those reservations together ...
First, you will want to make sure you have linked your vacation package to your account. When you booked it, you should have received a confirmation number. While your actual theme park tickets won't arrive in your account until four days ahead of your arrival, the system will recognize your package and allow you to make reservations. The great news here is that you will be able to pull from the reservations reserved for Disneyland Hotel Guests, and I can see in the
calendar that those are open for your dates as of this moment. In the same three-bar menu we looked at earlier, you will see "My Hotel Reservation". You will be able to see if your reservation is linked properly or add it in. This will be key to making those theme park reservations. Once your hotel reservation is linked, head to the "+" along the bottom navigation bar and select "Make a Park Reservation", tap "Make Park Reservations" and follow the prompts from there. You will be able to make the reservation for additional Guests as well as long as their tickets are linked to your account. Reservations will be made one at a time, so as soon as you are done with the first, just start the process all over again, and so on.
If you purchased your
tickets on the Disneyland website separately from your hotel reservations, you may have made your reservations as part of the process. You would be able to double-check in the "Future Plans" section of the app, and if not, just follow the same instructions above to make park reservations. Again, just be sure tickets for your full party are linked to your account so you can make reservations in one tap. If you need to link additional Guests, just head to the three-bar menu and select "Tickets & Passes". Tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner and you will see the prompt to link additional tickets.
John, this was a lot to take in! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach back out to me or any of my fabulous panelist friends. We are always here for you at planDisney!
Magic awaits!
