Hi there, Stacey! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question. I’m so sorry to hear about your son’s foot. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
I can understand your concern about walking, as there is certainly a lot of walking at the parks, especially for four days. There are three immediate options that come to mind:
~ I’m not sure how old he is, but there are
strollers and
wheelchairs available to rent by the day. They don’t take reservations, so you’ll want to arrive early.
~ I would stop by Guest Relations when you arrive to inquire about
Disability Access Service (DAS) which is a service intended for Guests who cannot wait in line for extended periods of time, due to various conditions or circumstances. The Guest Relations team will be able to tell you if your son qualifies for DAS. You can find the team at City Hall at Disneyland Park or Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure Park once you arrive.

Disney Genie+ is a great way to reduce the time spent waiting in lines. I always add this service to our tickets, as you get access to shorter queues called
Lightning Lanes on major attractions. It helps get you through the lines quickly – the longest I have ever waited in a Lightning Lane is 10-15 minutes, when the standby line was 120 minutes in comparison.
I hope this is helpful, and I sincerely hope you and your son can still have a great time at the parks. If you need an extra rest, grab a bench on Main Street, U.S.A. with some popcorn and enjoy the various entertainment segments throughout the day - the
Dapper Dans are my favorite!
Wishing upon a star for you,
Kamini
