Welcome to planDisney, Cindy!
I'm so glad that you stopped by with your question! Since the beginning of the pandemic, Disney has done their utmost to ensure the safety of its Guests when it comes to COVID-19. Ever since they reopened the theme parks, they've continually taken an intentional and gradual approach when it comes to lessening restrictions.
As I type these words, the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. However, it's important to note that Disney does not require this.
Although Disney encourages all Guests to be vaccinated and wear face coverings when indoors, this is not a requirement. Therefore, you don't need to be vaccinated or provide a negative test result.
I will say that Disney's procedures may change as they continue to follow guidance from the State of California and local health officials. Therefore, Cindy, before you travel next month, I'd encourage you to check the Disneyland Resort website for any updates.
I hope that's helpful. I'm sure you'll have a magical time. Did you know Disneyland is currently celebrating
100 Years of Disney? There's so much to enjoy and experience, including new nighttime spectaculars, unique merchandise, the reopening of the
reimagined Mickey's Toontown, and more! Make sure you take your kids on
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. My little Mousketeers love this ride and I trust yours will too.
You're in for a grand time! See ya real soon.
Mike
