Hi we are coming to Disneyland June 2-4 2024 I saw that Space Mountain will have a StarWars themed overlay ending June 2nd which is great and I'm super excited about that however will Space Mountain be closed the other 2 days? Thank you

    Hiya Holly!

Welcome to planDisney! The Disney Parks Blog announced so many wonderful things for 2024 and I am overwhelmed with deciding on my trip date!

You will have a chance during your visit in June to catch the tail end of the Star Wars Season of the Force which is running from April 5 to June 2 at Disneyland Park. One of the best parts of this time is the return of Hyperspace Mountain! I had a chance to experience this overlay and loved seeing my favorite Star Wars characters battling the dark side. You are correct that it looks like once Hyperspace Mountain ends its run on June 2 it will close and re-open as Space Mountain on June 5, 2023. Anything can change, but that is the current plan. I would ask Cast Members when you arrive if there are any more recent updates. I would though, make it a priority to experience Hyperspace Mountain when you arrive on June 2, 2024.

I am also very excited about the new scenes that will be on Star Tours- The Adventures Continue. I'm hoping we get scenes featuring Ahsoka Tano as the latest series on Disney+ was fabulous. Don't miss out on enjoying this as I believe this will continue through your trip. I hope that each day spent in the Parks is full of magic and surprises!

    Happy Planning!

We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
