Hello! We are coming to Disneyland for the first time late July! My daughter LOVES all the Disney Princesses & toy story characters so we would like for her to be able to meet them and take photos. What is the best way for her to get to meet them!?

Hi, Megan! Hooray! I am so excited that you and your family will be visiting for the first time next month! My daughter also happens to love all the Disney princesses and her pals from Toy Story, so I'd love to give you the scoop on how to meet all your daughter's favorites.

First, download the official Disneyland app. There is a "Characters" tab at the top that will show you where and when characters are meeting that day. For princesses, there a few different places to go, but you will want to start at Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire where you can meet up to three princesses in one location. You might also catch a few princesses, like Jasmine and Rapunzel, meeting in the courtyard. To meet Princess Tiana, look for her in Frontierland near the Mark Twain Riverboat. Moana can occasionally be found in Adventureland by Aladdin's Oasis.

For Anna, Elsa, and Elena, you will need to head over to Disney California Adventure Park. Anna and Elsa are currently in a temporary location near Stage 17 because of the refurbishment of the Disney Animation Building. So, again, check the app on the day you are visiting to confirm their exact location. For a truly magical princess experience, consider booking a breakfast or lunch reservation at Ariel's Grotto. You will get to meet Ariel upon entering and then a few of her regal friends will visit while you dine.

Disney California Adventure Park is also where you can meet Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear. These pals are located in the Paradise Pier Toy Box not far from Toy Story Midway Mania.

I hope this helps! Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have!
