Hey there, hi there, ho there, Lauren, you’re as welcome as can be to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your February vacation is going to be here before you know it, and I couldn’t be more excited for you!
With the Disneyland Resort Express and SuperShuttle no longer offering
transportation to the Disneyland Resort, the Resort is now recommending an alternative local shuttle service called Karmel Shuttle. However, Karmel Shuttle doesn’t provide child safety seats or allow lap-sitting. So, if you choose to make a reservation with Karmel Shuttle, you’ll need to provide your own safety seats. If you prefer traveling without your own safety seats, I have two more suggestions. First, you can opt for a rideshare service, such as UberX or Lyft, both of which offer safety seats upon request. Just keep in mind that if you’re flying into
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), you’ll need to take a complimentary shuttle bus to a new ride-hailing and taxi-pickup area just east of Terminal 1. So, allow extra time for your return to the airport if you choose this option. Another suggestion is to rent a car with safety seats. My family recently chose this option on a vacation with our three
little Mouseketeers, and it was so nice to not have to worry about lugging around three car seats during our travels!
If you find yourself needing a stroller upon arrival at the Resort, simply head to
Stroller Rentals, located to the right of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. You can rent a double, tandem-style stroller for your little ones on a daily basis. Be sure to utilize the
Baby Care Centers, too! There’s one in each park, and they’re the perfect spot to change, feed, nurse, or purchase any baby essentials you may have forgotten.
Here’s the
Entertainment Schedule for your arrival date, so you can start mapping out your magical plans now. Don’t forget to download the
Disneyland app – it’s my favorite handy helper in the parks! I especially enjoy using it to
mobile order food and drinks – this feature has helped me avoid many toddler meltdowns!
I hope this information helps, Lauren. Please come back with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
