I am coming to Disneyland for a day in November. I have been to Walt Disney World twice. Is Disneyland Park similar in size to Magic Kingdom? Is Disney California Adventure the same size as Disney Hollywood Studios?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Teri. I'm glad to hear you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort for the first time in November.

Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California is smaller in size compared to Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. I love the coziness of Disneyland Park, and places don't feel as spread out compared to the Magic Kingdom. (Don't get me wrong, Teri, I enjoy spending time at the Magic Kingdom, but Disneyland Park is my first love!)

You'll also notice that Disney California Adventure is also smaller in size compared to Disney Hollywood Studios, about half the size. You'll find similar architecture at both of these parks. However, one building that varied greatly is Carthay Circle. The Art Deco building in Hollywood Studios houses the Once Upon A Time retail store, whereas the majestic building in Disney California Adventure is a signature dining restaurant.

If you have further questions as you continue to plan your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, please do not hesitate to swing by the Panel again, Teri.

    See you real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
