We are coming to Disneyland with our children and grandchildren. We have rented a house about 15 minutes from the Mickey and Friends parking structure. If we walk to the structure will we be permitted to take the tram into the park.

    Hi there, Sharon!

A Disneyland Resort vacation with the children and grandchildren sounds like a dream come true. I'll have to find out which wishing star you've been using!

I'm so grateful for the convenient parking facilities at the Disneyland Resort. With its astounding engineering and awesome size, the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure also amazes me with how easy it is to navigate and use. The tram ride from the parking structure to Downtown Disney District is like an exciting attraction ride in itself, even before entering the parks! This service is complimentary to all guests. If you are arriving at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure on foot, you will find a pedestrian entrance to the tram loading area at the corner of Disneyland Drive and Magic Way, at the southeast corner of the parking structure.

Should you choose to walk instead of ride the tram, the remaining distance to the point where trams drop off passengers in Downtown Disney District is a little more than one-half mile. And it will afford the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at one of the several restaurants along the way. I also like window shopping at places like The Lego Store, Pandora Jewelry, The Disney Dress Shop, WonderGround Gallery, and more. You can browse the list of shops in the Disneyland app.

    Have a magical time, Sharon!
