Welcome to planDisney, Shauna! We're so happy you stopped by with your great question.
Can you believe you're only a few sleeps away from your magical vacation to the
Disneyland Resort? I'm so excited about your upcoming trip and I'm thrilled that you'll be able to enjoy everything offered during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. You won't want to miss the seasonal snacks and spooky overlays (especially on
Haunted Mansion Holiday!).
Shauna, after viewing the
Disneyland Resort Rules and checking with a Cast Member, I'm happy to let you know that your husband is welcome to bring his walking poles while visiting the parks! Since every attraction and ride vehicle is different, the recommendation is to speak with a Cast Member at the entrance to inquire where he can put them while he enjoys the attraction. They'll be happy to assist him with the next best steps that are available!
After visiting the parks with my mom (who also requires mobility aids), I'd personally suggest adding a tag or identifier on his walking poles, just to be extra safe! You may also want to take a little time to check out the
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities so you know all of the options available to you. I'd also recommend taking some time to download and explore the
Disneyland mobile app before you arrive. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions,
mobile order food at select locations, and even find important locations, such as
First Aid.
I'm wishing upon a star that your upcoming visit is an extra special one! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. We're happy to help!
You've got a friend in me,
Michelle
