We are coming to Disneyland in April. I am looking to see the difference between a "premium Character dining" experience vs. a "regular Character dining" experience.

    Hi there Scotque!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip will be here before you know it. I'm also so glad you are interested in taking part in a Character Dining experience! It's such a fun way to meet and greet your favorite Disney Characters in a relaxing setting with a delicious meal!

You may have seen a difference between Premium and Regular Character Dining when it comes to using certain dining vouchers in combination with Disneyland Vacation Packages. Currently, Premium Character Dining vouchers can be used at Disney's PCH Grill or Goofy's Kitchen. Regular Character Dining restaurants include Plaza Inn and Storytellers Cafe. Keep in mind that Plaza Inn is located inside Disneyland Park, and valid theme park admission is required. The other three restaurants are located in each of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. All of these options offer an all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience and the opportunity to meet and mingle with various Characters.

Since you will be coming this April, you may also be able to catch the end of the exciting Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Here you can indulge in many creative food and drink offerings that showcase the fresh flavors of California. It is one of the most unique festivals at the Disneyland Resort.

    I hope this helps!
