Hi Jacquii!
Walt Disney World is a
very toddler-friendly vacation destination! Be sure to check out this link on the Disney website to the
Traveling with Little Ones Planning Guide and details regarding
stroller rentals for those tiny feet.
When choosing a Disney Resort, it makes sense to consider your park touring and dining plans first and then, build your vacation around that. My guess would be that the Magic Kingdom Park will be a huge draw for your children based on their current ages. As a result, I would recommend staying at one of the hotels that has direct transportation via monorail or boat launch to this park as this option can be faster than utilizing a motor coach bus. Obviously, price will need to be factored into this equation too.
My children loved staying at the
Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground in a Wilderness Cabin with bunk-beds and the full kitchen really saved on meal costs. However, they also enjoyed
Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort for the incredible lobby and majestic views of Bay Lake. Both of these resorts offer water taxi service
directly to the Magic Kingdom Park.
No matter which Disney Resort accommodations you decide to call "home" on your trip, your children are certain to have many magical memories!
