We're coming to Disney World this year for our 25th visit, but our first at Christmas. We've booked tickets for both Mickey's Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. But I can't eat gluten. Is there anything gluten free at these events?

Welcome back to planDisney, Sacha! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question about my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World: the holiday season. There's something so special about this time of year; it really does feel like there's some extra pixie dust in the air!

I'm pleased to tell you that you'll absolutely be able to enjoy gluten-free treats at both Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights. Both of these events have had gluten-free options in the past, and Disney does an amazing job accommodating dietary needs, especially during special events.

At Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you'll find that each treat location typically offers Homefree mini chocolate chip cookies, which are gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan. A great option that's safe and sweet! You can grab these at the treat stops around Magic Kingdom, so you won't feel like you're missing out on the holiday cheer at all.

Jollywood Nights is a little different since it's more focused on specialty food and drinks. Last year, they featured several gluten-friendly options, including a Charcuterie Cup from BaseLine Tap House and Birria Tacos at ABC Commissary. Each food location during the event will have an allergy-friendly menu guide available, so you can double-check ingredients and find something safe and delicious that works for you. And, of course, you can always speak to a Cast Member or chef at any location if you have questions. They're more than happy to help!

That said, menus are subject to change, and we don't quite know what's in store for 2025 yet, so I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to the holidays. That's where all the festive food news drops first!

I hope this answers your question, Sacha, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
