Connecting with family and friends through the My Disney Experience app can feel a bit tricky, but don’t worry—I’m here to guide you! Linking your accounts through My Family & Friends ensures that you can easily make Lightning Lane selections,
Advanced Dining Reservations, and share plans as a group.
Here’s how to do it:
Make sure everyone in your group has a My Disney Experience account. If someone doesn’t, they’ll need to create one first. This can be done on the mobile app or the website. I find that website is easier to navigate when creating an account. Next, open the
My Disney Experience app and go to “My Profile” in the menu at the top right. Then you'll tap on “Family & Friends” and select “Add a Guest.” You can then connect by searching their name and their email address or phone number. Be sure to alert your group members to be on the lookout for the email requesting them to connect. Once they accept, you’ll be officially linked and ready to start planning together!
If you’re traveling with kids, you can manage their profiles under your account so they can be included in reservations and
Lightning Lane selections without needing their own login.
Once your accounts are linked, you'll be able to see who has an active theme
park ticket.
