Hi! We will be coming to Disney World for our 5th time for Spring Break on March 23 until March 30. I was wondering if they will be doing anything for Easter at any of the Parks during our time there? Thank You

    Hi Kevin,

I love visiting the parks over Spring Break. The weather is wonderful. My husband and I were at Walt Disney World resort one Easter before our daughter was born, and I remember watching the children on the lawn of Disney's Boardwalk Inn search for eggs.  It was adorable.

Although specific details for activities for Easter 2013 at Walt Disney World have not been released, we can make a good guess as to what might be available based on past years.  Mr. and Mrs. Bunny are typically available for meet and greets in Town Square in Magic Kingdom Park. The Azalea Trail Maids also may perform on Easter Sunday in the Magic Kingdom Park.  Last year, Easter events also occurred at Epcot in and around the United Kingdom pavilion, and also in the garden between Innoventions East and the Universe of Energy.  These included an Easter egg hunt, egg relays, and meeting Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit.  For these events, you may need to see a cast member to reserve a time to participate as the activities are very popular.  A cast member would be on hand at the events in this case.

Many restaurants will offer special dining on Easter. In 2012, these were Cape May Cafe, Captain's Grille, Chef Mickey's, Garden Grove, and The Wave.  Many resorts will also have special activities, such as an Easter egg hunt.  Be sure to ask upon check in at your resort for a list of special Easter-related activities.  I suggest monitoring wdwinfo.com and allears.net in the coming months for more information about Easter activities at Walt Disney World when they are released for 2013.  On either of those sites, simply search "Easter" for information.

Happy planning, Kevin.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
