We're coming to Disney World this spring with our 2 month old. Would you advise bringing a stroller or just a backpack? We'll be there with 4 adults and the baby, so we plan on going on a lot of the adult rides. Can we take a stroller in line with us?

    Hi Maggie,

I have visited Walt Disney World when my children were infants as well.  I would recommend using an umbrella stroller that folds back for sleeping with a canopy on top for protections from the sun.  We have used a baby backpack while hiking and camping, however, especially with a baby so young, I think it would be better to have a stroller.  You could always bring a front pack such as a Baby Bjorn one with a stroller if you would like to carry her on attractions that way.  There is ample stroller parking near the attractions as strollers are not allowed in lines.  I want you to know about the Rider Switch Pass so everyone can ride the attractions.  At the beginning of the line you want to ride, ask a Cast Member for a Rider Switch Pass for the person who will be staying off with your baby. Once everyone else is done with the ride, that person will be allowed to go through the Fast Pass Line with three additional guests.  At all of the theme parks, there are Baby Care areas which will have changing areas, rocking chairs, and they are just a quiet place to be with your baby.  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further, Maggie.  Have a magical vacation.
