We are coming to Disney World in September for my son’s 6th birthday and wanted to do a character dining experience. How do I found out about what is available? Thanks

Hello Charles! Planning a character dining experience is a great way to spend a sixth birthday! I did the same for my 40th birthday! Some of us never grow up!

There are several Disney Dining locations hosting character meals. They include Chef Mickey’s (breakfast and dinner), Garden Grill Restaurant (lunch and dinner), Tusker House (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), Hollywood and Vine (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and Topolino’s Terrace (breakfast)! You can visit the Disney Dining page to check for available reservations. You can also type any of these restaurants into the search bar on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Guests can make their dining reservations 60-days prior to their vacation arrival date! You can begin making reservations as early as 5:45 AM for some select Disney Dining locations. If you’re going to make character dining reservations then be sure to do so on the 60-day mark, as early as possible! Character dining is extremely popular and books almost immediately! Also, have your credit card with you when making your reservations. You’ll need that to hold your reservation.

Charles, happy sixth birthday to your son! You’re giving him a great gift!
