    We are coming to Disney World in September and are planning on going to Animal Kingdom on Thrusday, September 21, 2017. We would like to take the sunset Kilimanjaro Safari trek but unsure of times. Do you know when the last trip is scheduled.

    My son and I just love the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction in Disney's Animal Kingdom and we especially love doing it in the evening! It is so fun to see the amazing animals on this safari and it is different every time. I looked up Thursday, September 21st, 2017 on the Walt Disney World calendar and Disney's Animal Kingdom is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on that particular day. Kilimanjaro Safaris should be open and running during those hours on that day and as long as you are in line for Kilimanjaro Safaris by 9:00 pm on that particular day, then you should be able to experience this amazing safari. I have been on Kilimanjaro Safaris in the evening quite a few times and I have found that I saw the most animals and more animal activity right at dusk (the animals were very active because it is cooler at that time). Also as it gets darker as the evening progresses, it is more difficult to see all the animals even with the safari lights on according to my experience. I hope that you get to see lots of amazing animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
