I am coming to Disney World in September with my large family. We have 16 "adult" age, 10 child age, and 3 infants. Is there any type of group discount for tickets and is there an easy way to make dining reservations for such a big group?

    Hiya, Kevin!

Welcome to planDisney.  It sounds like you're planning to bring the whole Encanto along for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit –– how fun!  Like you, our family often travels as a large group and I wouldn't have it any other way!  Sure, it can be chaotic at times and it takes a little extra planning, but the laughs and memories we share definitely make all the work of planning for a large group worth it.  I'm so excited that you and your family will get to experience the magic of Walt Disney World together –– I have a feeling that plenty of pixie-dusted adventures are headed your way!

When purchasing tickets and planning for a large group, I recommend reaching out to Disney Group Reservations at (407) 939-1942.  These Cast Members have lots of experience coordinating for groups of your size and they'll be able to explain all the details and help you find the option that will work best for your family.  For advance dining reservations, I suggest breaking your group into two (or more) parties and searching for smaller tables at or around the same time.  You're much more likely to find reservations for smaller groups than for a table of 16.  When you arrive at the restaurant, you can let a Cast Member know that your tables are for one travel party and request to be seated near each other.  While this isn't guaranteed, Cast Members work hard to go above and beyond for their Guests and I've had great luck with our party being seated together in the past.  Just keep in mind that being seated together may mean waiting a few extra minutes for tables to open up, so be sure to bring your patience along with your appetite!  For a special meal together, you may also want to consider reaching out to Disney Meetings & Events for help coordinating group dining experiences –– again, these Cast Members specialize in creating magic for groups and they're a great resource when it comes to planning for large parties.

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Kevin.  I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you and your family lots of pixie dust during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
