Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner, Claudia. It won’t be long now! Organizing your park days is an important part of your overall itinerary in my opinion. Luckily, you’ve come to the right place! I know a thing or two about planning park days, so let’s hop right into it!
Instead of telling you what I think is best, Claudia, let me highlight some things to consider for the options you’ve presented. If this is your first visit to
Walt Disney World Resort, or your first visit in a long time, you can certainly do full days in each park. There is plenty to do and see that can absolutely fill a whole day. With that in mind, you could definitely do one park per day and repeat the parks you’d like to spend more time in once you’ve visited all four.
Alternatively, if you’ve been to Walt Disney World before and you know the attractions and entertainment options that you’re most drawn to as a family, you could benefit from the
Park Hopper Option on your tickets. You could start your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, for example, then hop to EPCOT in the afternoon to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and try some festival eats and sips at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which kicks off on August 27! If having this flexibility sounds appealing to you and your family, it can be a great option as well.
One thing I would like to note is that on the evenings where
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place at Magic Kingdom, there are no
Happily Ever After fireworks or
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parades. Both are definitely worth seeing, so I recommend visiting Magic Kingdom on an evening where there is no party.
What it boils down to is that there are no wrong answers here! I’m confident that regardless of how you choose to structure your trip, you and your family will have an absolutely magical time at Walt Disney World.
