Hi there, Dan, and welcome back to planDisney!
As a Walt Disney World Resort specialist, I rarely get the chance to answer questions involving the iconic Disneyland Resort. So, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I share what I know about
Lightning Lane Multi Pass with you.
If you’re staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, or another eligible hotel, you will be able to purchase and make your Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass experience selections up to 7 days before you arrive. This will give you ample time to plan your park days. If you’re staying off-property, your booking window is within 3 days of your arrival. Unlike Disneyland Resort’s system, it is separate from your theme park ticket purchase when you book in advance. You are correct that you will not be able to book your Multi Pass until you get a bit closer to your visit.
As much as I long to ride the Matterhorn Bobsleds again or to take a bite out of a Disneyland churro, I’m happy to report that you’ll find escaping the yeti on Expedition Everest and enjoying a class DOLE Whip just as magical. But that’s less than 1% of the offerings at the East Coast theme parks. There’s no doubt that having the access to several Lightning Lanes will help you have a more relaxing visit. And once you’ve booked your experience selections, you can modify the choices in the
My Disney Experience App up until the day that you tap into the particular theme park.
Dan, revisit us here at planDisney if you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
