    I am coming to disney world in Oct with my 19 yr old daughter who is in a wheelchair. And I am staying at Shades of Green resort. I was wondering if there is transportation from the airport to the hotel and from hotel to parks and are they WC accessible?

    Hi Teresa!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  Shades of Green is a great resort, located in the heart of Walt Disney World, for those guests who are eligible to stay there.  My wife and I have enjoyed our stays at that Armed Forces Recreational Center.  Once you get to the Shades of Green, there is complimentary transportation provided to allow you to get around Walt Disney World.  However, I don't think it works as well as Disney transportation.

    For information on how to get to the Shades of Green in the first place, I recommend visiting the Shades of Green website at www.shadesofgreen.org.  They partner with various Orlando area transportation companies and there are discounts from time to time.  I also suggest calling the Shades of  Green directly and discussing your transportation needs.  The main number there is (407) 824-3400.
