    We are coming to Disney World Oct 29 - Nov 3 2009. Kids ages 17,16 and 8. What is the Halloween party like at the Magic Kingdom? Would all three kids (and parents) enjoy it?

    Hi Michelle!  Our group who attends the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party every year is a majority of adults with an occasional toddler along for the fun.  We all dress up so our costumes relate...past ideas were bowling pins and ball, hotdogs with mustard and ketchups, and this year we will be candy with a toothpaste and toothbrush.  We love having a good time in the park that evening and try to get a dining reservation as well.

    Although not all attractions are open that night many of the highly popular ones are giving you a great opportunity to ride and experience these with out the long lines you find during the day. Adults and children will all line up for the trick or treat candy stations and the parade and fireworks are special Halloween themed events.  My favorite part of the evening is when the Headless Horseman rides through the park on a beautiful black steed named Khan with sparks flying off the hooves.  It alone is quite the spectacle!

    I know our family enjoys this Magic Kingdom evening but all kids are different.  Talk about the options and then decide what is best for your group!
