Bright suns, Theresa! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney as you make arrangements for your voyage to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Oga Garra runs one of the most popular watering holes in the entire galaxy, so it can definitely be hard to get into her fine establishment. Guests can try to make reservations for
Oga’s Cantina up to 60 days in advance, but if you’re unable to snag one, all is not lost! You may still have a chance to sip a Bespin Fizz and listen to DJ R3X spinning tunes.
First, keep trying! In general,
Guests can cancel restaurant reservations up to about 24 hours in advance without a charge, so you may find a last-minute opening as someone else has a change of plans. Next, you can try one of the third-party reservation finding services like the one at Touring Plans. You’ll need to create an account with them, then enter the time, date, and location you’re trying to reserve, and let their system do the rest. You’ll get an alert if something opens up, and then it’s your responsibility to hop online right away and try to grab it. I know lots of people have found hard-to-get reservations with this method.
When hunger calls during your visit to Planet Batuu, stop by
Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo and munch on some out-of-this-world delicacies. Your planDisney pals highly recommend the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread. So good! There are also some creative cocktails here like the Surly Sarlaac, which you should probably try just for the cool name alone.
Theresa, I have all of my appendages crossed that you’re able to get a reservation to Oga’s Cantina. I just know you’ll love it! Please come see us again if you have any more questions, and may the Force be with you!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
