    We will be coming to Disney world March 30- April 2, 4 adults 5,3,1 yr old. Can you help me to find a Mickey & Friends character dining? It appears all are booked. Are there list you canbe put on?

    Hi James! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Your trip is right around the corner! Traveling with Pre-School Kids and Little Ones can be such a fun time. Watching them experience all of the attractions and entertainment are memories that you won’t soon forget.

    Planning for dining can sometimes be a bit tricky. Dining reservations are available to book starting 180 days before your arrival to the Walt Disney World Resort. Reservations do tend to fill up quickly since so many people do tend to plan really far in advance. Although there isn’t a list that you can be put on I do encourage you to keep checking for availability! As people’s vacations come closer I often find availability due to people changing plans. I find myself checking for availability a couple of times a day. I also would like to suggest keeping an open mind when checking. Character dining is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so as long as it doesn’t matter the time of day or location you may find that you have a better shot at grabbing a reservation! When searching for dining reservations there is a “Filter” button. You can choose “Character Dining” and it will show you all of the available dining options, times, and locations that are available with characters. Lastly, depending upon availability you may even try to get a “walk up” reservation. On our last visit I was able to walk up to Disney’s Hollywood & Vine Restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the Disney Jr. Play ‘n Dine breakfast. My daughter had wanted to experience this restaurant but I wasn't able to secure a reservation before our vacation began.

    Whatever you do don’t give up hope! I hope that you and your family are able to get the dining reservation you have been dreaming of!
