Welcome to planDisney, Vicky!
I'm so glad you've chosen to be our Guest. There's nothing we enjoy more than helping fellow Guests plan their next visit to Walt Disney World Resort. You're coming at a brilliant time too, Vicky!
The World's Most Magical Celebration is full of EARidescent excitement to experience and enjoy. And did you hEAR the magical news? Character hugs are back! So
stop by to see Mickey and get ready to make some memories!
I'm sure your little princess will have the most enchanting birthday. There is no better place in the world than Magic Kingdom Park for someone that age (or my age, for that matter!). Vicky, if your granddaughter turns 3-years old on the day of your visit she will require a valid Walt Disney World ticket and Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the Walt Disney World theme parks. Tickets for children aged 3-9 cost slightly less than tickets for Guests 10+. I will say, Vicky, that no proof of age is required when you bring little Mouseketeers to the Theme Parks. It's all on the honor system.
Here's a tip, Vicky: as soon as you arrive, stop by Guest Relations at Magic Kingdom Park and inform a Cast Member that you're celebrating your granddaughter's birthday. They'll give her a special button, which she can wear throughout the day. Cast Members and fellow Guests will see this button and be able to wish her a "Happy Birthday." She'll feel extra special!
One thing your princess will absolutely love is the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. There are beloved Disney characters riding spectacular floats. She'll be in awe of all the dancing and music!
Have a magical trip, Vicky.
Mike
