Hi, Tom!
One of the best perks of staying in a Walt Disney World owned Resort hotel is the free transportation provided to and from the Theme Parks, Water Parks, Downtown Disney and the Orlando International Airport! The folks at Walt Disney World do an amazing job of transporting Guests all over the entire property and back.
It's pretty safe to say that you can expect a bus to come to each of the stops at your Resort hotel every 20 minutes. Some Resorts have only one stop and others have more, it will just depend on where you're staying. I recommend that you always allow up to 90-minutes for travel time if you're heading to a reservation, regardless of where you're heading to and from. If you arrive at the bus stop and a bus heading toward, say, Magic Kingdom Park has just left, you'll have a little bit of a wait for another bus. You also need to allow time to walk from the bus stop to the gates of the Park. So, for example, if you have a 8:30 a.m.
Advanced Dining Reservation at Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park, you'll need to be out at the bus stop of your Resort hotel by 7:00 a.m. just to be on the safe side. Another important thing to note is that the buses do not travel from one Resort hotel directly to another. If you're heading to a Resort hotel from the Resort you're staying in, you'll need to take a bus to any of the Theme Parks first and then transfer to another bus heading to that Resort specifically.
I hope I haven't completely confused you! Please feel free to write back in if you have any additional questions we can help with!
Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
