Hi there, we are coming to Disney World (for the first time) in mid June for 8 nights, l have 4 children aged 15,13,8 and 6. We have purchased a dining plan. l have no idea what are the best places to eat, any help would be great.

Hi, Gavin!  How exciting that you'll have this time with your family to enjoy Walt Disney World together!

You are already in your 180 day dining reservation booking window, so you'll want to get started as soon as you can.  Many of the most popular restaurants book quickly, especially for summer vacations.  Some of the most popular restaurants include 'Ohana at the Polynesian resort, and all you care to eat meal where skewers of grilled food is brought to you, steaming hot, and added to your plate.  Another very popular restaurant is Le Cellier, as steakhouse in the Canada pavilion at EPCOT.

For character meals, which you may want to do for your littler kids, Cinderella's Royal Table, in the castle at the Magic Kingdom, is probably the most difficult reservation to get, so you'll need to jump on that as soon as you can.  Another awesome and busy character meal is Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort.

Some of my favorite restaurants to take my girls to (ages 21, 2, and nearly 8) include Tusker House, a character meal at Disney's Animal Kingdom; the Biergarten, a traditional German buffet with some musical entertainment at EPCOT; and 50s Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where you are dining in "Mom's" kitchen from the 1950s.  My girls also love the SciFi Dine In at Hollywood Studios, a dining experience similar to eating in a convertible at a drive in movie;  Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge; and Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge, so they can see the animals after they eat.

    Have a wonderful trip!
