I am coming to Disney World for a family trip on January 3-10, 2015. My question that I have is what is the possibility of the Christmas decorations still being up at some of the parks? Will the castle still be lit up with lights on the 3rd of January?

    Hi, Wesley!

I'm glad to hear you're planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family this January.

The official holiday season at the resort this past year was from Nov. 8, 2013 to Jan. 5, 2014. Although specifics of this year’s holiday offerings haven’t been announced yet, there’s a good chance you’ll still be able to get a glimpse of the glittering castle at Magic Kingdom Park and other seasonal touches during the first few days of your visit to the theme parks. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more details as your trip approaches.

I hope this helps, Wesley. Please write back with any other questions you have as your pixie-dusted planning continues!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
