Hi! Coming to Disney world with my family in Dec. 2 2017. When will we know the dates of MVMCP so that we can plan our days at the parks accordingly? Will it be before our 180 day mark or Should I just count on history repeating itself? Thanks!!!

    Hi Leslie,

The holiday season is such a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World. By your visit, no only will Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party be in full swing, you'll also be able to enjoy Holidays Around the World at Epcot, Holidays at Disney Springs and so much more.

I've found that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has been pretty consistent about scheduling on the same nights each year, so if you must depend on history, you should have a good chance of making your plan correctly. However, the schedule normally is released in the late spring, so it should be official by your 180 day mark in early June.

Last year, for example, the 2016 dates were announced on the Disney Parks Blog on April 8.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Leslie. Please let us know if we can offer any recommendations as you make those dining reservations soon or if you have any other questions about your December vacation. We're happy to share our experiences.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
