We are coming to Disney World with 2 other families each with 2 children between the ages of 1 and 9. We have narrowed are choices of resorts to Caribbean Beach and the Port Orleans French Quarters which would you recommend?

Hi Patricia! Each of the resorts you mentioned has a great following of fans that return year after year. I personally prefer Port Orleans French Quarter as it is small and more intimate and gives out a less busy feeling. Both are in close proximity of each other so you aren't gaining on location but I prefer the Port Orleans bus system over the Caribbean Beach. I like having a lobby where you can easily get answers to any questions you might have and the Caribbean has their lobby in a building that is set off and quite far away from most guest rooms. Both resorts have pools with slides and fun activities for the children. You might enjoy the carriage rides at night at Port Orleans and also the ability to hop on a boat for a 15 minute ride to Downtown Disney where you will find abundant dining, shopping, and entertainment at your finger tips.

Again choosing a resort is a personal decision but my choice would be Port Orleans French Quarter without a doubt!
