Hello, We are coming to Disney World by the end of the year and I've noticed that there are no parades scheduled for Magic Kingdom from 21st To 31st of December. We are planning to visit on either 23/24/25 December. Is that correct?

    Hi Surbhi!

Welcome to planDisney!  Thanks for stopping by to be part of our world as you get ready to celebrate a jolly holiday at Walt Disney World Resort this year!

Surbhi, all of the theme parks have many special decorations, activities, and treats for the holiday season, but none more so than Magic Kingdom Park.  Throughout November and December, some of these offerings are reserved for Guests attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  However, during the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve, many become available during regular park hours.  Recently, the entertainment schedules were updated to show that Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be shown at Magic Kingdom beginning December 21, 2024.  If you haven't had the chance to see Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade before, I'm sure you'll instantly fall in love with it!

The parade is scheduled to make its way through the park twice each day (at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM) from December 21st through December 31st, and you can catch the Christmas fireworks from December 21st until December 29th.  On December 30th and 31st, Guests will be treated to a special display, Fantasy in the Sky, to celebrate the new year.  While this is currently the published schedule, I always recommend checking the park hours and entertainment calendars closer to your arrival just to make sure there haven't been any updates that may impact your plans!

If you're looking for some holiday fun outside of the parks, I suggest visiting the different hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection.  Many people head to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for a peek at the iconic gingerbread house and to snack on some sweet treats, but did you know that several other resorts have gingerbread displays as well?  I'd suggest taking a stroll around the Disney BoardWalk to visit the displays at Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's Beach Club Resort.  After visiting those two, you can finish your trip around the BoardWalk with a stop at Disney's Yacht Club Resort for a meal at one of my favorite restaurants - Ale & Compass Restaurant.  If you want a quick sneak peek of the various gingerbread displays, you can check out the planDisney Instagram page!

Surbhi, I ho-ho-hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a very merry visit to Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season.  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
