Hi! We are coming to Disney world at the end of May. My daughter adores Moana and I have seen she is not currently doing meet and greets. Does any one know if this will change and if not what other ways we can get Moana in our Disney experience? Thanks

    Hi Anne,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Moana is very popular around my house as well, we are certainly hoping for her to make it back to Walt Disney World Resort in the near future.

As as of right now, there is no telling when Moana will return from her current voyage.  The ocean was calling and she is following her voyager roots.  I would recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as information regarding new character appearances are typically released there first.

If you would like to include Moana in your visit, I suggest taking the time to enjoy Happily Ever After, the new Fireworks Showcase at Magic Kingdom Park.  There is a scene based on Moana that is absolutely stunning.  There is also Moana merchandise located in retail stores throughout Walt Disney World Resort, and although she isn’t there in person, this is the next best thing.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort this May, Anne.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
