It appears that Te Fiti has granted your daughter's wish for the opportunity to "sea" Moana this December, before she sails off on a new adventure!
Moana is one of the more popular Special Disney Character Appearances at
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park. She meets Guests at Adventureland in front of the Jungle Cruise. However, please keep in mind that Disney Character appearances are always subject to change.
I suggest purchasing
Party Tickets as soon as possible. These parties do sell out very quickly, as they limit the number of Guests at the event. Moana typically begins meeting party Guests around 5:45 p.m. However, her queue starts forming well before that time. Cast Members will only allow Guests wearing the party wristbands to line up for her meet-and-greet.
We are hoping that in the future, the stars will guide Moana to be part of a regularly scheduled
Character Experience at Walt Disney World Resort. Please keep your eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements of her staying ashore for a while. One never knows when she might return from across the sea with Hei Hei and Maui.
