We are coming to Disney World in December and staying at the Swan. We haven't been to Disney in 5 years and I am confused about the use of Magic Bands. Can we get them connected to our Swan hotel room? Also, Fast pass selections from home? Help!

Hi Sandra! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The Walt Disney World Swan hotel is a great place to stay while enjoying your Disney vacation.  Situated near the Disney’s Boardwalk, you can walk to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios. Although it is located on Disney Property, it is not a Disney owned resort and that is the reason guests don’t receive complimentary MagicBands. You can, however, purchase them and link them to your account at “My Disney Experience”. Remember you will not able to use your MagicBands as hotel room keys.
Even not operated by Disney, if you are staying at the Swan, there are benefits you can enjoy, such as making your FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance, Extra Magic Hours and complimentary transportation to the theme parks.
Hope this information helps your planning. Let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a wonderful day!
