Hi Rachel,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a lovely time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!
Estimated transit time depends on the mode of transportation. If you have not done so already, download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. The app has a nice Get Directions feature that will allow you to see transit options and estimated transit times between locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. To get directions, enter the name of a location using the search feature. Then once that location comes up, you should be able to click on Get Directions to enter the name of the second location.
Although we typically rely on
Resort & Theme Park Transportation at the parks and resorts, on our last trip, we found the most efficient direct transportation to be
Minnie Van™ Service. Once you download the Lyft mobile app, you simply order your vehicle - choose Minnie Van™. On our last trip, our rides generally took about 20-25 minutes. If you use the resort and theme park transportation, it could take 45 minutes or longer. Although getting from Magic Kingdom to Epcot, for example, is fairly quick using the monorail, other routes are longer.
Rachel, given that your dates are during the holiday season, keep an eye on crowd levels as you use those Park Hopper tickets. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, I would consider making a reservation. The extra
benefits to resort guests are definitely worth it during that time of year!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
