Hi Nathan!
Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and it's always worth double-checking the details about tickets because things can often change at Walt Disney World.
I have good news!
Park reservations were discontinued when using date-based tickets from 9th January this year, and are no longer required when using our 14-day
Magic Tickets. This is great news as it allows us to be more spontaneous with our daily plans. I'm happy to say that park hopping is included with our Magic Tickets so there is no extra charge for that, and we can go from park to park as much as we want, at any time of day (
subject to capacity).
There is more good news as our 14-Day Magic Tickets can now be used over 18 days, and don't have to be used on consecutive days. This is useful if you don't plan to visit theme parks every day, but intend to enjoy a few quieter days, at the pool or shopping at Disney Springs.
Memory Maker is also included with these tickets, and provides unlimited free downloads of all the photos taken by PhotoPass photographers around the parks, and on some attractions.
Disney water park admission is another benefit of our 14-Day Magic Tickets so we have entry to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach, whichever is open at the time of your visit. It's worth knowing that entry to water parks does not use up one of our 14 days (as long as we are not visiting a theme park on the same day).
Please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions, and you can
send me a direct question if you wish. Your holiday will soon be here, and we are happy to help you plan your magical trip to Walt Disney World!
Sue
