Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Angela!
Oh, my goodness, you have such a special trip in store! How magical!
Once you have obtained approval from your pediatrician to bring your littlest bundle of pixie dust to the parks, you'll have so much fun enjoying the magic together. On our first trip to WDW, our son was 5 months old, so we navigated most of the mild attractions with the baby in a wearable baby carrier. This ensured that he was safely and securely snuggled in, so that Mom or Dad still had hands free when needed.
In Magic Kingdom, try "it's a small world', The Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Liberty Square Riverboat, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and, of course, Walt Disney World Railroad.
At Epcot, enjoy Coral Reefs, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Spaceship Earth and Turtle Talk With Crush.
Disney's Hollywood Studios offers Muppet*Vision 3D and Star Wars Launch Bay as well as Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and Voyage of The Little Mermaid.
Animal Kingdom options include taking Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch as well as wandering through Discovery Island Trails, Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, Maharajah Jungle Trek and The Oasis.
Check out this fantastic link for tips on
traveling to Walt Disney World with little ones and take advantage of the super-helpful
Baby Care Centers, located in each of the four theme parks.
Best wishes for a most magical first visit, Angela!
