We're coming to Disney World for Christmas this year. (2 adults/2 daughters ages 13, 11) What activities do the resorts have during that week? Does Fort Wilderness do the Campfire Sing-a-long with Chip 'n Dale during the Christmas Holidays?

Hi Christine! How exciting your family must be to be celebrating Christmas at Walt Disney World. It is truly the most magical time of year and there is nothing like your first sighting of the beautiful castle in the Magic Kingdom twinkling with millions of holiday lights.

In general most of the resorts have some activities year round for the children and based from the pool area. During the holidays they might use that as a theme but there will always be something happening to excite the kids. Some resorts have special caroling in the lobby or a special visit from characters at different times of day. Fort Wilderness happens to be the location where we spent last Christmas and it was glowing with all the great holiday decorations done by the guests at the different sites. If this is where you will be staying be sure and locate the guest who duplicates in miniature the Wishes show over the Magic Kingdom castle. It is unbelievable what he has done with the use of technology. Last year he was in loop 700.

Fort Wilderness will indeed have the Campfire Singalong every night unless weather cancels it. During the holidays they will try to show movies that fit the theme. I am envious that you will be there to enjoy all of the excitement as we will be leaving before that this year!
